  2. Dear Stefanides Family,

So sad to hear the passing of such a wonderful man. I shared many memorable times with your father at the “coffee shop” as well as the bowling alley many years ago. He always brightened my day when I would see him walking downtown and speak with him. May his memory be eternal. My deepest sympathies.

  3. Dear Stefanides Family,

Our deepest sympathy to you all. Steve was like a father to me my entire life. My children are heart broken with his loss. He never once walked by my children without having candy to give them and oosoo for me along with a hug and kiss. He was always hollering for my kids down the street to come in and give them candy. I loved watching my children run down the same sidewalks i ran down to go give him a huge hug. I have great memories of Steve and my kids were lucky enough to be able to grow up and know him and love him the same. We all feel the pain and are at a loss. We will miss seeing him everyday. I love you Victor and Marcie and you will always be family to me. Maybe our parents and brothers have met up again in a much more beautiful place. May they all rest in peace in a perfect heaven. Many prayers from my home to yours now and always. Love you, Siham Magala Baker, Dirk and kids Gabriel, Israfel, Ezeekiel, Angelina, Alaina and Ethaniel Baker.

  6. The family of Stelios Stefanides, “my Greek Friend”,

My heart is heavy with sadness that I am not in town to attend my very dear friends services. I worked at the Strip Steel credit union and I didn’t get to see Steve when I retired and moved to Texas.

Please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. I loved when Steve would come in and call me “greek girl”. We talked a lot about our ancestry and I always respected his pride of being Greek.

My prayer is that God would comfort you in this time.

    Sincerely

    Christine Pavlic

  7. I was so saddened to hear the news of my friends passing. Steve became like an Uncle to me and is such a kind soul. I always enjoyed the chance to sit and talk with him. He would be sure to have me try some of his favorite home made dishes like his garlic dip for his zucchini!.

I will miss him very much…

Now living out of town I was disappointed to hear the news of his passing too late to visit with his beautiful family and pay my respects. For this I am regretful.

Please know that you have my sympathy and he will always be in my prayers.

    Much Love.

    God bless…
