Ted W. Thompson, 37, of Bulger, PA, formerly of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born December 5, 1972 in Weirton, he was a son of the late William R. and Mary C. Baier Thompson.
Ted worked as a full-service attendant for the Exxon Gas Company. He was Catholic by faith and was an active volunteer for the Burgettstown Youth Basketball and Baseball Association.
Ted is survived by his siblings Linda Doyle of Cadiz, KY, Cynthia Tustin of Paris, PA, William Thompson of Weirton, Richard Martini of Weirton and Joseph Martini of Alaska; step-sister Sandra Manning of Columbus, OH; step-brother Jeff Manning of Columbus, OH; step-mother Carol Manning of Westerville, OH; fiancé Cindy Garn and her sons Steven and Christopher Garn of Bulger, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 9AM until the 11AM Memorial Service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Interment will be held at the convenience of his family.
