Terence (Terry) Anthony McColloch

Terence (Terry) Anthony McColloch, 82, of Weirton, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 in Secaucus, NJ while attending his granddaughter's graduation. Born June 12, 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a son of the late Robert and Marcella Hayes McColloch. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hayes.
For 23 years, Terry was a truck driver with Chemical Leman and Matlack Trucking. He attended the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church and was a member of AARP, Three Score Seniors and the Greater Weirton Senior Center. He enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool. Terry was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War.
Mr. McColloch is survived by his wife Iona Starcher McColloch of Weirton whom he married April 29, 1950; daughters Terrlyn Wroniak and her husband Mitchell of Fairfield, OH and E. Joyce McColloch of Weirton and grandchildren Taryn Wroniak Johnson and her husband Robert and Elissa Wroniak.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be celebrated 12 noon Saturday.
The Reverend William Stout will officiate.
Interment will be in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling, WV.

This message is especially for Terri…Terri, your father’s obituary in the Wheeling paper caught my eye. It has been far too many years (36?) since our time at A-B, but I have often thought of you. My own dad passed away suddenly in 2002, and I miss him so much. My heartfelt sympathy. Barbara
