Teresa Arlia

Teresa Arlia, 92, of Weirton, died Friday, January 04, 2002, at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born November 8, 1909, in Belmonto, Calabria, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Mato and Dominica Veltri Arlia. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph who died in October 1981. A daughter Rose Amberson and a sister JoAnn Pelligrino also preceded her. Teresa was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton. She is survived by one son, Gabriel Arlia and his wife Mary of Follansbee, WV. She has six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Visitation will be Monday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV, where a prayer service will be held at 3:30pm. Funeral liturgy with mass will be Tuesday. 10:30AM at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Weirton. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum.
