Terrence Alan “Terry” Grant of Weirton, a loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at his home on April 27th after a recent battle with stage four lung cancer. He was 83. Terry was born on April 20, 1939, in Steubenville, OH. He was the youngest born of two sons to George Duncan Grant and Margaret Virginia Thomas Grant. Terry graduated from Weir High School in 1957 and shortly after enlisted in the United States Army. Terry proudly served in the United States Army for three years, where he was stationed in Paris, France, and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. On February 2, 1963, he married his high school sweetheart, Donna J. Smith. In their 59 years of marriage, God blessed them with a lifetime full of love, three children, and seven grandchildren. Back home, he provided for his family by working at Air Products and Chemicals, where he retired as the Plant Manager of the Weirton location. Terry nourished his faith at the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church. He loved to golf, vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC, and start each day with Donna and their many friends enjoying breakfast at their favorite spots before heading out with Donna for their daily walk. Most of all, Terry will be remembered as a quiet humble man who had great love for his family. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, George Thomas Grant. He will be remembered with love and admiration by his wife, Donna J. Smith Grant; his sons, Troy (Maria) Grant of Atlanta, GA, Tim (Amy) Grant of Weirton, and his daughter, Shelby (Don) Gianni of Weirton; his grandchildren, Arden Grant, Harrison Grant, Austin Grant, Morgan Grant, Thomas Gianni, David Gianni, Julia Gianni, and many beloved nieces and nephews. A private family funeral service will be held at the convenience of his family. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.   45. I’m so Sorry, Donna. Terry and Dick Heilman were two of my Dearest Golf Friends at Pleasant Valley CC and many other golf courses and Country Clubs all over the Tri-State Area. Those two will probably Hook-up and do some entertaining Golf in Heaven. I will definitely missTerry…He had such a Great personality and just a great Individual!
