Theresa H. Zimmerman

Theresa H. Zimmerman, 85, of Weirton died Saturday January 31, 2015, at the Wyngate Senior Living Community, in Weirton, WV. She will enjoy celebrating her 63rd wedding anniversary, in Heaven with her husband, Zim, on February 2nd, 2015. Born on August 30, 1929, in Weirton, WV, Theresa was a daughter of the late Peter and Julia Wypasek Gryszko. She was also preceded in death by her husband, O.L. Zimmerman on July 12, 1996; her brothers, George, Victor, Martin and Walter Gryszko and Henry, Joseph and Stanley Setlak; and her sister, Alyce Kotchka. Theresa worked at the C & P Telephone Company. She will always be remembered as a sweet loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a pillar of Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, where she was active with the Christian Mothers. She is survived by her son, Thomas M. Zimmerman of Weirton, WV; her two daughters, Sharon and Gary Duda of Weirton, WV and Janet and Michael Mariani of Dover, PA; her four grandchildren, Brian (Gretchen) Duda, Andrew Duda, Jennie Mariani and Lindsey Zimmerman; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV A vigil service will be held Thursday Evening in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Friday at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, WV Rev. Fr. Anthony Thurston will preside.
