Thomas George Goffoli

Thomas George Goffoli, 69, of New Cumberland, WV, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015 at his home. Born September 17, 1946 in Weirton, he was a son of the late Marion and Annabelle Loughhead Goffoli. He was also preceded in death by his brother George Jerry Goffoli and sister Loraine Denese Goffoli.
Tom retired from Weirton Steel, where he worked as a Motor Inspector in the Tin Mill. He was Catholic by faith, was a member of the American Legion Post 10, WSX 25-Year Club and was Life Captain of the Weirton Heights Volunteer Fire Department. He also served in the US Navy from 1966-1971.
Mr. Goffoli is survived by his wife Marian "Mick" Hineline Goffoli of New Cumberland, whom he married August 9, 1974; sons Thomas M. (Tanya) Goffoli of Weirton and Lane D. (Wendy) Garrison of South Park, PA; daughter Jeannene L. (Paul) White of Salt Lake City, UT; sister Maryann Malis of Weirton; grandchildren Jessica (Jacob) Dixon, Devan and Hayley Garrison, Briana Hosfeld and Anthony and Kiera Goffoli and great-grandson Benjamin Lane Garrison.
In honoring Thomas' wishes, there was no visitation. Private funeral services were held at the convenience of his family followed by interment in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA, where Military Services were conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hancock County Senior Services, Valley Hospice or Point Pleasant Ladies Aide.
