Thomas Karavolos
February 7, 1922 ~ July 18, 2005
Thomas Karavolos, 83, of Weirton, passed away Monday, July 18, 2005 at his daughter’s home in Chesterland, OH. Born February 7, 1922 in Weirton, he was the son of the late Mike and Angelina Xenakis Karavolos. Thomas was also preceded in death by his brother John Karavolos and sister Anne Pappas.
Thomas retired from the Eaton Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked as a Security Guard for the Plant Services Department. He was a member of the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church and served in the US Army during World War II.
Thomas’s survivors include his sons Thomas Karavolos and his wife Wendy of Columbus, OH and Mike Karavolos and his wife Kelly of Colorado; daughter Tammy Kruzer and her husband Marc of Chesterland, OH; sisters Mary Caloudis (Stelios) and Frances Titones (Marko) both of Cleveland, OH. He also leaves seven grandchildren.
Friends will be received 6-9PM Wednesday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where Trisagion and Ahepa services will be held at 7:30PM. Additional visitation will be held Thursday from 10AM until the 11AM services at the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church with Reverend Father Dean Dimon presiding. Interment will be in All Saints Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Weirton.

My deepest sympathy. “Fuzzy” was my brother-in-law’s best friend and companion at the horse race track. They truly loved each other’s company. They will be each other’s company once again in heaven. May they rest in peace.
