Thomas P. Paris
September 24, 1937 ~ June 28, 2006
Thomas P. “Cutta” Paris, 68, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH. Born September 24, 1937 in Weirton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Antonetta Gallo Paris. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wives Anne Taglieri Paris and Karen Buccalo Paris; half brothers Ben, G. Michael, Herman and Tony Paris; sisters Lena Kevari and Gilda Paris and half sisters Vera Wellman and Sister Mary Edwin.
With 38 years of service, Thomas retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a mechanic in the Strip Steel Department. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus 3734 where he served as Past Exalted Ruler, K of C Fourth Degree Assembly, Weirton Moose Lodge 688 and the Weirton Elks Lodge 1801. Thomas served in the US Army Reserves.
Thomas’s survivors include his son Thomas Paris of Kent Ohio; daughters Mary Muller and her husband Ray of Sparta, New Jersey, Jennifer Paris and Maria Paris both of Oakmont, PA; brother Joseph Paris of Weirton; sisters Mary Paris of Weirton, Rose Dicks of Point Marion, WV and Sister Carmen Paris of Columbus, OH and grandchildren Christopher, Chelsi, Jake and Jared Muller and Antonio Paris.
The family will receive friends Thursday 6-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 12PM Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Tommy (Cutta). In all of the 50 years that i have been returning to Weirton,I always sought out the company of Cutta.We would talk of the old times and friends of old. I will, as well as many, will miss him. He was a member of a great and traditional Weirton family My regrets….Coke

Dear Joe, Mary, and all the family….sorry to hear about Tom’s passing…my husband and me sat next to you at Christmas Mass at St. Paul’s…it has been a long time since we all lived on Elm Street…I know it has changed a lot.
