Great man with a big heart and a great smile and soft voice in uniform.Condolences to the family.RIP
Being my neighbor for as long as i canremember, you were a great person and great police officer. I know our neighbor hood raised hell at times, but you never judged. I always came to your house to play with Brandi and Michael. Oh yeah, sorry for making so much noise every morning while we were standing at the bus stop. Lol. Wow, the memories. Thank you for being one of the good ones. Thank you for your service!! RIP, Sir
Rest in peace. We love you! You will missed! Judy Berckmiller
Husband graduated high school with Tommy. I knew him when we both worked in New Cumberland. He was at the sheriff’s office and I at the welfare and food stamp office
. Heck, that was like 1969…………..so a very long time ago. He was always so kind and he was just getting started since he did that job for 40 yrs.
Oh Tommy Boy, it’s only been a few days and miss my voicemails of you asking me to stop and get you an EXTRA LARGE SHAKE , or 2 Big Macs, one for later. You asking for a box of tissues and saying bring me a couple extra boxes, a back up for your back up! Not just one nose spray but 2 or 3. Not just 2 batteries but 6,just in case. Not one remote but 2…you just told me last week when I told you, Tom you gotta have a back up for your back up, and you said that’s what’s gonna be on my gravestone. That was a good laugh but now I am considering that😂 You are so missed but let me tell you I would do it all over again with you. We been through so much together and you were always there for support, cheering me on,and never letting me doubt myself and what I can accomplish. I’m missing your phone calls when I’m not there telling me to be careful driving and to rest. You had such a caring heart, you really are one of the good ones! I’m gonna miss you jamming out to your music, you telling me story after story. Thank you loving me and my kids and making me your daughter! I LOVE YOU TOMMY BOY! (BANG!)
I remember Tom from my four years at Weirton PD (79-83). Tom was always a down to earth guy who treated everyone with respect.
Sorry about your loss. Tom was a great person and will be deeply missed. Harold and Teresa Bruno McCombs both worked with Tom at the jail and Magistrate Court. God Bless You always.
