Timothy Jon Davis, 66, of Wellsburg, WV, formerly of Weirton, passed away Monday, Oct. 06, 2014 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born July 23, 1948 in Steubenville, he was a son of the late John J. and Dorothy Tepsic Davis. He also was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Terry Lee and Gary Allen Davis. Timothy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wellsburg, a former member of Cove Presbyterian Church in Weirton and a 1967 graduate of Weir High School. Since 1978, Timothy had worked at the Hancock County Sheltered Workshop. He is survived by a brother, John L. Davis and his wife, Lynn, of Wellsburg; sister Constance D. Rothermel of New Jersey; nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4-6 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 901 Charles Street, Wellsburg, WV 26070.

  6. Tim was a wonderful person and he will be truely missed. Im glad I had the opportunity to meet and work with him. Every time I will see a shiny penny or paperclip i will remember the wonderful times I got to spend with Tim. Heaven has gained an amazing angel. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this sad time.

  9. Tim was one of my favorite students at Weir High. Even though he had some short comings he tried as hard as he could and did excel. He always had a smile on his face.
