I used to call her when I needed “animal” advice. She sure did love them. Psalm29:11
My condolences to Jeff and family – Violet Rose Green was Mom to our gang growing up; I remember sitting in her kitchen as she drank gallons of soda and regaled us with stories of racing the State Police in her Monte Carlo … but crazy as she was, she gave me a place to hang out & feel safe after my parents divorce, and always had time to listen. She will be missed.
Jeff and family We are so sorry for your loss and you are in our prayers LaVaughn, Bob and Sara Yoby
Jeff, Tamara, Alan, Matthew, Sincere sympathy on your loss. Our prayers are with all of you.
When I met Jeff, his mom was not only supportive of our relationship, but elated to have a new “daughter.” I was the luckiest bride in the world to have a mother- in-law I could honestly say I loved – and shared everything with. We’ve had lots of struggles over the years – but there has always been one thing consistent. She loved us, she always listened without judging, and she fully accepted me as “daughter” rather than her son’s wife. She would have done anything to help anyone – (or anyone’s pet) and would have given anything she had if she felt it would help someone else. Although taken from this earth too soon, she is at peace and I am comforted knowing her struggles are over. I know she was greeted by Angels…
Jeff, Tamara, Alan, and Matthew, So sorry to hear of Violet’s passing…I enjoyed my visits with her when I would go see her. May she rest in peace. Deepest sympathy, Mary, Gary, Sara, and Matthew Lyons

Growing up my Aunt Violet was the coolest aunt that anyone could ask for. She has been a role model for me with my neices and nephew as not to judge them but to listen and be supportive as we all have made poor choices in our lives, but that’s what makes us who we are today and who we will become in the future. I was lucky enough to inherit a few traits from my Aunt Violet. My LOVE for animals, nice clothes and of course SHOES! I have sooo many fond memories that I will cherish and hold near and dear to my heart. Thank you for being in my life as I’m a better person because of YOU! To my wonderful Aunt Violet may you rest in peace. Blue skies and furry four-legged friends are waiting for you on the other side.
Please know that you are held in thought and prayer as your mourn the loss of your loved one.
Tamara and family, So sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Rose Ann and Bill Keller
Jeffrey, I was so shocked and sorry to hear of your mother’s death. I met your mom through Bob (worked with him at Bell Telephone) and enjoyed their friendship so much. Your mom was a kind, compassionate, hard working person and she spoke of you often with such loving words. You were blessed to have her for a mother. My deepest sympathy.
Jeff, I think of your mom often. I worked with her in Pittsburgh many years ago. She got me started with my career and was a great friend and mentor. I only found out of her passing today. I was trying to find where she might be so I could contact her. She was a lovely giving woman whom I am sure will be missed my many.
