Virginia "Ginny" Lee Price, 94, of Weirton died Monday August 6, 2012, at the Weirton Medical Center.
Virginia was born on March 5, 1918 in Weirton, WV, a daughter of the late Charles L. and Lucille Cordaro Locascio. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George M. Price on March 28, 1977; two brothers, Charles S. and Sam Locascio; and four sisters, Grace Basil, Phyllis Venci, Ann Kasica, and Rose Eannrelli; a son in law, William Harrison.
Virginia was a homemaker who loved cooking, baking, planting her garden and playing cards. She enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labors especially her zucchini bread and her fried chicken with her friends and family, but most of all Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins.
She was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving family that was so important to her including her two daughters, R. Kay Harrison and Georgia (William) Jonczak all of Weirton, WV; three grandchildren, Liza Jonczak of Sheperdstown, WV, Candice (Matthew) Pitek of Morgantown, WV, and Zachary (Sandi) Harrison of Hilliard, OH; a great granddaughter, Sydney Harrison of Hilliard, OH.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday, at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton.
Rev. Fr. Manuel Gelido will preside.
Entombment will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church or Hancock County Senior Center.

Rose Kay & Georgia: I was so sorry to learn of your Mother’s passing. She was such a character! I remember many fun times with her at Uncle Chuck & Aunt Annie’s house. She kept us laughing. I know Kathy & Lulu will miss her too. May her soul rest in peace.
