Virginia T. Baker, 97, of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Weirton, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013 in the Lancia Villa Vista, Steubenville. Born June 21, 1915 in Atwood, (Tyler County) WV, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Florence Conley Colegrove. She was also preceded in death by her husband Eugene E. Baker, brother Irmel C. Colegrove and sisters Eva C. Moredock, Lucille S. Fitzpatrick and Ellen Jean Glover.
Mrs. Baker was a homemaker and a former member of the Weirton Missionary Alliance Church. She was also a member of Rebekah Lodge #42 in Colliers, WV and served as past Noble Grand of the Weirton Chapter 147 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her sons Charles E. Baker and his wife Darlene of Steubenville and David L. Baker and his wife Virginia of Delray Beach, FL; grandchildren C. Todd Baker, Jane Auty and Kimberly Carroll and great grandchildren Ethan and Vanessa Auty and Jacob Carroll.
Friends will be received Thursday from 10 until the 11AM funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Pastor Jason Elliott will officiate. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.

My condolences to the family. Your mother was a 1st cousin to my mother, Jessie McHenry Wilcox and I can remember when the family would visit family in Middlebourne, and attend the EUB Church.I remember especially Charles who was about my age.
