William Allen Duvall

William Allen Duvall, 57, of Weirton died Wednesday May 15, 2013.
Born on September 11, 1955 in Alliance, Ohio, Bill was a son of the late Raymond Duvall and Genevieve Cross Duvall Shreve. Bill was also preceded in death by his step father, Paul Shreve, and his brother in law, John "Hoppy" Bain.
A United States Navy Veteran, Bill retired from sales, where he worked locally for area businesses including Priority Communications, Lauttamus Communications, and Tri State Security. He also worked as an EMT for Weirton Area Ambulance and Rescue Squad and a radio dispatcher for the Weirton Police Department.
In recent years, Bill enjoyed taking care of his lawn, his beloved cats, and riding his Harley.
He was a former member of Saint Paul's School Board, Weirton Rotary Club, the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Patriot Guard Riders.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jeanette Carlisle Duvall whom he married on May 25, 1991; a sister, Jane Bain of Follansbee, WV; and a half brother, Joe Duvall of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.
His family will receive friends and family on Saturday from 4 7 PM at the Greco- Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton.
A memorial service will be held at 7 PM in the funeral home.
Bills cremated remains will be laid to rest with Military Funeral Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
His family suggests memorial contributions in Bill's memory be made to the Lazarus House, 95 East 11th Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.

Dear Jeanette, We are so very sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. We will never forget the first time we met him when he came to sell us our security system for the house and we found out he was your husband.
