William ''Bill'' N. Ford

William N. “Bill” Ford, 65, of Weirton, died Thursday, December 19, 2002 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1937 in Salem, WV, son of the late David W. and Mona Trader Ford. Bill retired after 38 years of service from Weirton Steel in the Strip Steel Department. He was a roller on the #8 Tandem. He was a member of the WSX 25-Year Club. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Pifer Ford; son William C. Ford; daughter Shelly Lynn Delong; brothers David C. and Vernon G. Ford and his wife Loretta Kay; sister Noreen J. Mike and her husband Eddie J.; and two grandchildren Tim and Eric Noel all of Weirton. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Monday.
