  2. Bonnie and Children, Our deepest sympathy, we are very very sorry for your loss. Bill was a great man and friend. There are many cherished memories growing up on Marland Heights, enlisting in the Navy together, the Naval Reserve times, times Bill and I were able to meet up and spend together in Japan, our weddings, and when the four of us would get together at one of our houses for a night of fun and cards. Bill always had a smile on. I’m blessed to have been his friend and he will always be remembered. Our hearts and prayers are with all of you. Love to you all, Bob and Debbie McCullough

  3. To the Courtney Family: Please accept sympathy and prayers from me and my husband, Kenny. We had nothing but the utmost respect for your husband and father. He was so kind and helpful, and always had funny stories to share. It was just a few months ago that he helped us with his expertise in choosing a new front door for our home. He even came over to our house with the man who was doing the measuring to ensure that everything would be perfect—and it was. Bill was a fine man and will be missed by everyone who knew him. 9. My father and I share with you the deepest of sympathies at Bill’s passing. When my father called and told me I heard him fighting tears. I stood numb. It had been a little while since I had seen “Willie” but what a great man he was in both of our eyes. He ALWAYS treated my father and I like we were his best friends and alswys asked how things were and about our families. I knew when I walked into Weirton Lumber that Willie was going to be there smiling and saying “What up?”. From both my father, Vincent C. Oliver and myself, Vincent A. Oliver, we hope that you can find comfort in this tragic loss that Bill touched so many people in so many ways. A good man has gone home to be with God. While we will miss him here, the angels have gained one of the good ones. God Bless all of you and know that you are in our prayers.
