William Kerr Livingston, 87, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born August 22, 1925 in Weirton, he was a son of the late George and Margaret Kerr Livingston. He was also preceded in death by his wife Ruth Snyder Livingston on November 21, 1982, brothers David and Samuel Livingston and sisters Beatrice Simmons and Jean Law. From 1952-1958, William served as bus driver for P & W Bus Company. He retired from the Plant Security Department of Weirton Steel. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Weirton, American Legion Post 10 and Weirton Moose Lodge 688. William never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to everyone he met. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. William's survivors include his loving family, Judy (Dennis) Kustra; William (Lynn) Livingston; Jamie (Angie) Livingston; Robert (Susan) Livingston; his grandchildren Jeffrey, Jonathan, Christopher, Ashton and Faith; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of his family. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens where Military Services will be conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard. The Livingston family would like to thank the 5th floor nursing staff of Weirton Medical Center for the loving care they gave to their father. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.

Know that you will carry your father (and mother) with you every day for the rest of your life: you will find they are with you in everything you do.
