William “Pat” O’Neill, 57, of Weirton, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Weirton Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born August 9, 1947 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late William D. O’Neill and Jeanne (Dellaria) O’Neill. Pat retired from Weirton Steel. He was Catholic by faith. Pat served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the V.F.W. #2716 and Weirton Moose Lodge #688. Pat is survived by one son, Brian P. O’Neill and his wife Amy; one daughter, Michelle O’Neill; two grandsons, Tyler Brian and Matthew Joseph O’Neill; and his companion, Linda Romanelli, all of Weirton. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday. Rev. Fr. Stephen Dube’ will preside. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery, where Military Services will be conducted by the V.F.W. Firing Squad and Evert Maki American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard.
