William W. Kostur

William W. Kostur, 84, of Weirton, died November 8, 2001 at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI.
He was born on March 31, 1917 in Weirton, WV, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Sapp Kostur.
Bill was also preceded in death by his wife Angela M. “Toots” Cimino Kostur, on June 10, 2001, his 3 brothers, Bob, John and Joe Kostur.
Bill retired from the Tin Mill at Weirton Steel, where he worked as a feeder for 43 years. Bill served his country during World War II, in the United States Army. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Pleasant Valley Country Club, the American Legion Post # 10, VFW 2716, BPOE 1801,WSX 25 Year Club and the Savages.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Pam) Balogh of Milford, MI and Mrs. Ron (Cynthia) Easterday of Greer SC; his brother, Mel Kostur of Charlotte, NC; his 4 grandchildren, Jeff Easterday and his wife Kara, Mrs. Phil (Kim) Paine, Dennis & Brian Balogh and his great granddaughter, Allyson Lynn Easterday.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2001 from 1-3 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV. A vigil service will be held at 2:30 PM
Funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
Entombment will be at St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum, with military services conducted by the American Legion Post 10 Honor Guard, the VFW 2716 Firing Squad and the Tri State Marine Corp.
Memorial contributions maybe made to Valley Hospice 380 Summit Avenue Steubenville OH or to the Meals on Wheels.

Bill was always a good neighbor and friend.Even though I didn’t see as much as I should have, I will still miss him. Mike(Sonny)Podolak I haven’t known your father very long, but I found him to be a caring and thoughtful person.
