Zora Vucelich
December 18, 1921 ~ April 16, 2003
Zora Vucelich 81, of Weirton passed away April 16, 2003 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born December 18, 1921 in Josephine, Pa. the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Mandich Mandich. Her husband George Riley Vucelich, brother Charles Mandich, two sisters, Mary Yobbagy, and Paula Bakich also preceded her.
Zora was a homemaker, and a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church, Steubenville, Ohio, and the K.S.S. Vidovdan of Weirton.
She is survived by her son Riley Vucelich and his wife Debbie of Weirton, two grandchildren Brian Vucelich of Weirton, Lisa Vucelich of Stamford, CONN and one sister Caroline Yaich of Wintersville, Ohio.
Visitation will be Friday April 18, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV where funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 PM in the funeral home. A Pomen service will be held Friday evening at 8:30 PM in the funeral home.
Interment will follow at the Serbian Cemetery in Weirton.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Serbian Men’s Club.
