Alfred “Al” T. Posti, 78, of La Quinta CA, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Wyngate Senior Assisted Living Community, Weirton, where he resided for the past month. A son of the late Steve and Stella M. Koper Posti, Al was born on March 6th, 1940, in Weirton, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Steve and Edward Posti. Al worked in corporate communications for Alcoa for 25 years and for Century Aluminum for 10 years. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in La Quinta, CA and was a veteran of the US Army Reserves. In his free time, Al enjoyed following the stock market, cooking, and traveling to places such as Malta, France, Switzerland, and Poland. Al will be remembered with love by his wife, Irene Posti of La Quinta, CA; sons, Steve (Josephine) Posti of Mt. Lebanon, PA and Michael (Sarah) Posti of Burgettstown, PA; daughters, Kristen (Frank) Taft of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Elizabeth (Dan) Mazzei of McDonald, PA; step-daughter, Karen Gumin (Glen); and his ten grandchildren. Friends will be received on Saturday December 15, 2018, from 12 Noon_ to 1:45 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Saturday December 15, 2018, at Sacred Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.   2. Al was married to my sister, Irene. We lived a great distance apart and only had a few occasions when we got together. Our hearts are deeply saddened at the loss of my sister husband. May he be with the lord and rest in peace. He will be in our prays. Frank and Jeanette Pace
