Allen Knox

Allen Knox, 79, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born December 13, 1926 in Vintondale, PA, he was the son of the late George and Blanche Wray Knox. Allen was also preceded in death by his wife Patricia Knox. Allen was a retired truck driver. Allen’s survivors include his sons Jerry Burgoon of Florida and Ron Burgoon of West Virginia; daughters Joyce Knox and Susan Burge both of Weirton; several brothers and sisters; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. There will be no visitation. Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
