Ann Bubrik

Ann M. Bubrik, 87, of Weirton, died Monday, October 18, 2004 at her home. Born April 21, 1917 in Cariton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ann Savko Demko. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Bubrik on October 3, 1997, son Michael J. Bubrik, brother Michael Demko and sisters Mary Hiko, Ann Demko, Helen Demko Bacon and Margaret Demko Langham. Ann was a homemaker, a caring mother, a member of the St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, Saint Mary’s Altar Society and AARP. Ann’s survivors include her loving and thoughtful son Thomas George Bubrik of Weirton; sister Irene Demko Capusta and her husband Andrew of Finleyville, PA; nieces Dolly Kemple of Pawley’s Island, SC, Jerry Heimman of Dennison, TX, Sharon Garbin and her husband Tom of McKees Rocks, PA, Arlene Travis of Texas and Mrs. (Bernie) Patty Peckins of Wintersville, OH; nephews John Bubrik and his wife Monica of New York and Charles Bubrik of Las Vegas, NV; great niece Christina Fisher and great nephews Christopher and Eddie LaPosta and Ryan and Thomas Garbin; sister-in-laws Mary Bubrik of Weirton and Esther Bubrik of Texas. Friends will be received Thursday from 6-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where a Blessing Service will be held Friday at 9:30AM. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Friday at Saint Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 3116 Elm Street, Weirton with Father Edward Lucas presiding. Interment will be at St. Paul Cemetery.
