Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Mrs. Blanar was such a part of my life. She was one of the Ann’s. My mother, Anne Zdinak, Ann Selip, and Mrs. Blanar were a team. They did so much together. She was like an aunt to me. So many memories of holidays with her at my house and hers. We went to Cancun together. She was such a wonderful and delightful person who definitely left her mark on everyone she met. Mrs. Blanar was truly one of my parents best friends. They loved her dearly, and she reciprocated it. The world is a better place because of her, and she will be missed. Love to you Susan, she was a terrific mom. Mickey Zdinak Strayer

  2. Susan I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I have a lot of fond memories of the times I spent at your house on 10th Street. Also so sorry to read about Elizabeth’s passing….we were good friends in high school but lost contact over the years. I just lost my love of 56 years this pass August. Life will go on… do take care. Patty Rohal Christoff

  3. As part of the large Zdinak clan, I can remember as a very young child, the home celebrations the day-after a big family wedding. Anna Blanar took a crocket table cloth and fashioned it as a bridal veil and Ann Selip would put on a man’s suit jacket and borrow a hat and cigar to be the groom for a “mock wedding” it was always so comical and a good time. Anna Blanar, during my entire life was a woman who smiled and had wonderful words to say about family memories, life memories and faith. God bless her “with many and happy years,” and we were blessed for it. My siblings and I across many miles have shared our memories of what we called “The Three Ann’s.” To your, her family and loved ones, know of our deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers as you grieve. Sincerely, Stanley Tuchalski and siblings (the children of Mary Jane Krinock Platt and grandchildren of Mary Gogul).
