Anna Marie Bonovich, 76, of Weirton, died Sunday, March 7, 2004 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1927 in McMechen, WV, a daughter of the late John William Webb, Sr. and Alma Elfie (Jones) Webb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Bonovich on June 5, 1982; three brothers, John William Webb, Jr., Charles Joseph Webb, and James Albert Webb; one sister, Kathryn Criswell; and her son-in-law, Douglas Cline. Anna Marie graduated in 1945 from Union High School in Benwood, WV. She worked as a teacher at Dillonvale High School for five years and Steubenville Big Red for one year. She also worked for the Avon Printing Company in Weirton and for W.A.A.R.S. as a billing clerk. She was a member of A.A.R.P. and the Evangel Baptist Church in Weirton, where she was a pianist for twelve years. Anna Marie is survived by her three sons, Wayne Bonovich, Sr. of Weirton, Donald Bonovich of Paris, PA, and Stanley Bonovich of Oklahoma City, OK; two daughters, Linda Cline of Colliers, WV and Nancy Smaltz of Morgantown, WV; two sisters, Alma Jean (Ivan) McCombs of Sherrard, WV and Miriam Elizabeth (James) Gordon of Columbus, IN; seven grandchildren, Wayne Bonovich, Jr., Jason Smaltz, Ruby Bonovich, Kristin Smaltz, Kayla Cline, Staci Cline, and Molly Cline; and her daughter-in-law, Wendy Bonovich of Weirton. Anna Marie will be sadly missed by her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be Wednesday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM at the Cove Presbyterian Church, Weirton. Rev. Michael Lenno will preside. Burial will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to Evangel Baptist Church, 204 Old Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062.
