ashlee wade
Ashlee D. Wade-Roach was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, peacefully from a sudden illness, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital on February 16, 2019. She went to be with our Lord at the age of 35. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 20, 1984, the daughter of Larry Wade and Barb Gaston-Wade. She was raised with Christian beliefs. She enjoyed spending time and helping out family and friends. She was a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys. All around, Ashlee was a down-to-earth person, who’s smile lit up the room. She was the kindest hearted and giving person. She truly was a one of a kind who will be remembered mostly by her heart of gold. She is survived by parents Larry Wade and Barb Gaston-Wade; sister Brittani Wade; nephews Braden, Austin and Rex Blackwell; paternal grandparents Wilbur and Marilyn Wade; maternal grandparents Leonard and Nellie Gaston and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Scott Roach and Uncle Billy Wade. Visitation will be held on Thursday 11:00 AM to1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5: 00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral services will be held 5 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Minister Steve Smithbauer will preside. 1. Sending my prayers to the family. Ashlee was such a amazing young woman who I became really close to in 2016. She had the biggest heart and kindest soul. She touched the heart of so many of us. She truly was a one in a lifetime type of friend. Your family is in my prayers.

  2. Ashlee was a big part of my life, whether she knew it, or not. We may not have hung out a huge amount of times… But, when we did.. I remembered every moment we had together, & everyone I’ve ever met, throughout my life, so far, has heard a story or 2, 3, 4,or more stories of us. I’ve always kept our friendship in my heart! Because she, honestly, is someone I can say, was always a real, true friend! No matter what! & U can’t say that about too many people these days. I pray her soul is in Heaven with Scotty’s. I’m so saddened by this. My heart feels so heavy. I’m so sorry this happened. My thoughts & prayers are with you guys.

  3. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. When someone we love dies, it’s natural to want to see that person again. God promises us that He will comfort us in our trials if we go to him in prayer. 2 Corinthians 1:3 calls him the God of all comfort. I’d like to share with y’all this link that shows 12 steps on coping with grief that is good for sharing. I have personally found this very comforting and I hope y’all do as well. https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=102018086&srcid=share
