  8. I knew Barbara for a very short time. She was a quiet lady that shared my duplex with me. Every once in a while I would say hello to her in passing, but she mainly kept to herself. I prayed for her all the time and wanted to be her friend, but I didn’t want to intrude in case she wanted to be left alone. I liked having her as a neighbor, though, because she was quiet and she had a wonderful dog named Hank. I wish I would have had more time to try and befriend Barb because I think now that maybe she could have used a friend to talk to. I wish I would have had made more of an attempt to reach out to her. Her son, Chuck, and his fiance, Missy, live across the street from my parents, so I was able to talk to them anytime. They are very nice people and I am glad I got to know them through Barbara being my neighbor. I am sorry, Chuck and Missy, that I never got a chance to truly get to know Barbara. But, I am glad to have made friends with you both. And thank you for giving me a new friend…Hank. He and Saint are best friends and the three of us are very happy. I am glad to have Hank to love and hold on to. He’s the most wonderful dog. I love taking care of him…and he is taking care of me, too. Thank you. Love and Prayers, Casey

  9. Chuck, It’s been years since I’ve seen or spoke with you. I am very sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Find comfort in memories and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take care. Shannon Weaver-Goldsmith and family
