Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Joe & Laurie, We were sad to hear of your Dad’s passing. Please accept our condolences and know that our hearts are with you.

  2. I will be forever grateful for the help, teaching, mentoring, and father figure Mr. McFarland gave to me. He knew this already because I sent him my thanks in a letter many years ago, called to say it again, and then told him again in person with my son present a few years ago. My father passed at an early age, and Mr. McFarland along with my Stepdad molded me toward a great life. Bill McFarland had two sons: Joe and me. Just as the Fort Steuben Bridge provided millions a bridge for life and prosperity, Bill McFarland helped provide me a bridge to a happy life. Thank you Mr. McFarland and have a happy eternity.

  3. I loved Kitty Lou, and I met you only a few times. I’d like to contact Joe as I haven’t seen him in years.

  4. Joe, Laurie Sorry for your loss. I still use all the mechanical skills that Bill taught me growing up. I remember Bill evertime I grab one of tools he gave me for working on lawn mowers. Dan Lafferty

  5. Knowing Bill long before he married my sister Kitty, he was always a great friend to Gene and I and we interduced him to Kitty and the rest is history. Praying for the family at this time of their lost of father and grandfather.

  6. I have really fond memories of Bill from my childhood and have always referred to him as my favorite cousin. My mother Virginia, his aunt, is still with us at 93 and so far has not heard the sad news of Bill’s passing.

  7. I took care of Billie at Brightwood. He was a great person! I certainly will miss him. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. John 11:25,26.
