Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Uncle Chester was my Great Uncle. For my entire fifteen years of life, he has always lived close to me and has always been there for me. He has been a huge part of my life and was present when I was born. I love and miss him and I will be praying for him. Love, Alexander

  2. Chester hired me in 1974 to work for AMOCO and during the time we worked together he became a mentor and a friend. I attribute a lot of my success today directly to Chester. He was one-of-a-kind and I was proud to have worked for him and to have been his friend. He will be missed my many others as well as myself.

  3. Chester was one of the nicest men we ever met. May God Bless him. Our very best to Jean as well.

  4. Chester was one of the most well known and respected port engineers in the marine business. As a young surveyor with ABS I had heard much about Chester before finally meeting him face to face in 1982 on the “Amoco Srafarer” in dry dock at Semabawang SY Singapore. I subsequently had the distinct pleasure of presenting Chester with his ABS Ship Operations Committee plaque in Paramus NJ in 1999 when I was Eastern District Manager with ABS. Chester cast a long shadow and will be remenmbered by all his junior marine industry colleagues who had the privelige of working with Chester at some point in our careers.

  5. It was a real pleasure to know and work with Chester. He was a unique individual and I will never forget him.

  6. We’ll miss you Chester! During the 35 years we have known you as a collegue and friend, we have always enjoyed your sincerity and warm heart. Very fondly, Cesare and Eric.
