Clarence B. Harris

Clarence B. Harris, 71, of Weirton, died Tuesday, December 02, 2003 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born June 8, 1932 in Elkins, WV, son of the late Luther and Icee Swick Harris. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters. In 1991, after 40 years of service, Clarence retired from the Weirton Steel where he worked as a scarfer. He was a member of the Colliers Nazarene Church and the WSX 25-Year Club. He is survived by his wife Doris Johnson Harris whom he married December 20, 1990; sons, David, Mark and Wayne Harris and Chad, William and Danny Johnson all of Weirton, Clarence Dale Harris of Medford, OR and Scott Johnson of Benton, TN; daughters Donna Davis, Jane Holt and Lisa Swisher all of Weirton; and 20 grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday with Rev. Russel A.
