Dominic T. Pucci, Jr., 69, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Born May 27, 1941 in Wellsville, OH, he was a son of the late Dominic T. and Mary Bonidie Pucci, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his son Dominic T. Pucci, III on June 4, 1995 and granddaughter Sarah Dawn Smalley on June 25, 2005. With 29 years of service, Dominic retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a Certified Electronic Technician. He also owned and operated Pucci Home Electronics for 35 years. He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus 3734, having served as Grand Knight for 2 and a half terms, K of C Fourth Degree Assembly, Italian Sons and Daughters of America and the N.R.A. He served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Pucci is survived by his wife Maria Pia Rossi Pucci of Weirton; son Dr. Aldo Pucci and his wife Sandy; daughter Mariella Smalley and her husband Hobie; daughter in law Mindy Pucci all of Weirton; brothers Arthur Pucci of Columbus, OH, Dr. Donald Pucci of Phoenix, AZ and Ronald Pucci of Wellsville, OH and sister Mary Frost and her husband Fred of Wellsville, OH; grandchildren, Aldo Pucci, Jr., Maria Pucci, Dominic Pucci, IV, and Jessie Smalley. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Knights of Columbus Rosary will be recited at 6 PM Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 11;30 AM Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton with Military Services being conducted by the American Legion Firing Squad. I met Mr.Pucci in ST.Pauls cemetary,he would be sitting on the bench over from my in laws grave.we would talk awhile everytime we would both be there at different times.he was so very kind ,and LOVED his family so much.I have lost my husband now,and my prayers are with you.Iknow he will be greatly missed
