Edward Stanley Oleksy, Jr.

Edward S. Oleksy, Jr., 61, of Weirton died July 4, 2018, at the Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Born on February 10, 1957, in Weirton, WV, Eddie was a son of the late Edward S. and Helen Perrino Oleksy, Sr. Eddie graduated in 1975 from Weir High School and became a professional painter. He was an active member of Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, where he helped out around the church and school. He is survived by his sister, Mary Richardson of Steubenville, OH; a daughter, Amy Jo Oleksy, and her children, Luca and Rylan; a son, and a grandson. Visitation is 4-8 PM Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Saturday at Saint Paul’s Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Fr.
