  1. I am Sophia Krivosky Angelini’s grandson. We are sorry to hear of your loss. May God bless and keep you.

  2. To the Zack family: You have my deepest condolences on the death of Eli. I worked with him at the Serbian Picnic Grounds as a young girl and grew to know and love him; some 20 years later, my daughter, Molly, now worked there with him, and I know he was special to her also. We remember him as a quiet and humble man but one with great strength. We are very sorry for your loss.

  9. Growing up down the picnic grounds roasting chickens with Eli has given me many fond memories. One summer a friend worked down there with me, and the way Eli used to hollar for me by saying, “Hey Danny” is still done to me by all my closet friends to this day. I will never forget the times spent with Eli at the grounds and the church and wish my deepest condolences to Zora, Mitch and the rest of the family.

  10. Dear Mitch, Mitzi and family, Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at such a sad time. May the wonderful memories of your Dad bring you comfort.

  13. Mrs. Zack, and Family, We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Eli. An obituary can only highlight a small portion of one’s life and his memory will live on in the hearts of those that loved him and knew him. He has been a big part of our our family’s lives growing up in the Serbian Orthodox Church. Sundays will not be the same with out his bright smile to greet us after services. Our son Nicholas has great memories of his Jeda and Eli at the picnic grounds in the summers. Eli told Nick what you dont learn from your Jeda about Bar-B-Qing, I will teach you. He was a sweet, giving, loving and humble man. He will truely be missed. May you find comfort in knowing that he is an Angel in heaven now and with his loved ones who have preceded him. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. May you find comfort and peace in knowing that he was loved by many people and may God Bless and comfort you and your family during this difficult time. May his Memory Be Eternal. Love, Jerry and Mary Lynn Ricci
