Helen Larch, 81, of Weirton, died on Friday, April 5th, 2013. She was born on November 9, 1931 in Weirton, daughter of the late Nicholas and Amelia Kriatsis Moulakis. Helen was also preceded in death by her brother Socrates, her sister Mary, and her infant son. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church in Weirton. Helen was an inspiration to all of her family. A devout Christian, she always placed others before herself and had a sweet and loving nature. Helen had a lifelong love with her husband Walter, which began at their high school prom. Helen dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and her closest friends the late Mary Moulakis, the late Penny Diniaco, and Dorothy DiNicola. She was a fantastic cook who loved to make her family recipes of Greek dishes. Helen will be missed by family and friends and always remembered for her quick wit and generous spirit. She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Walter J. Larch Jr., of Weirton. Children: John Larch and Sherri of Wheeling, James and Kimberly Larch of Weirton, and Tina Larch of Weirton. Grandchildren: Amelia Larch, Megan Larch, Jennifer and Captain Christopher Mikula, Jason Larch, Julie Larch, and Tina Marie Rykowski. Friends will be received Tuesday 24 pm and 68 pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral Liturgy with Mass to be celebrated Wednesday, April 10th at 12 pm at St. Paul's Catholic Church with Reverend Father Larry Dorsch officiating. Interment will be at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA. Memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Paul's Catholic Church 140 Walnut St. Weirton, WV 26062.
