Helena F."Toots" Foley, 85, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 in the Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH. Born January 21, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen Leitmeyer Donnelly. She was also preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Foley and infant daughter Barbara Anne Foley. For 25 years, Helena served as a nursing assistant for Weirton Medical Center. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, AARP and loved playing cards, Bingo and picture puzzles. Helena is survived by her son Daniel P. Foley (Susan) of Steubenville, OH; granddaughters Kelly A. Keck (Rick) of Wadsworth, OH and Danielle M. Smarrella (Joe) of Steubenville, OH; 4 great grandchildren Taylor N. Keck, Brayden A. Keck, Sagan M. Smarrella and Saige J. Smarrella. At Helena's request, a private family visitation and burial will be held. Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the Foley family. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church, 229 California Ave. Weirton, WV 26062 in her memory.

Many years ago I was in the hospital for surgery and she was one of the aides, we had some nice chats.
