Herbert P. (Stoney) Stonebraker
April 20, 1939 ~ May 27, 2009
Herbert P. “Stoney” Stonebraker, 70, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in the Acuity Specialty Hospital. Born April 20, 1939 in Steubenville, he was the son of the late Paul and Dorothy DiStefano Stonebraker. He was also preceded in death by a brother Donald Stonebraker.
Stoney retired from National Steel where he worked as a Supervisor in the 54” Machine Shop. He was a member of the Lodge Council Chapter Consistory Valley of Steubenville and served his country in the Marines.
Mr. Stonebraker is survived by his sons H. Douglas Stonebraker of Wintersville, OH, William D. Stonebraker of Steubenville, OH, Steven E. Stonebraker of Carrollton, OH and Michael T. Stonebraker of Richmond, VA; brothers Norman Stonebraker of Weirton and William Stonebraker of Steubenville; sister Marilyn Crago of Weirton and 7 grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
