Joseph Dichauzi, 94, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Carriage Inn, Steubenville. Born July 14, 1924 in Bradley, Ohio, he was a son of the late John and Anne Yaugon Dichauzi. He was also preceded in death by his wife Lillian Seifer Dchauzi, son Charles Dichauzi, brothers Edward, George, Mike, Charles and Andrew Dichauzi and sisters Anne and Clara. Joseph proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He worked in the Tin Mill at Weirton Steel and was on the WSX bowling league. He could be found at McDonalds every morning enjoying a coffee and reading the newspaper. He is survived by his son David Dichauzi of Weirton and sister Irene (Pete) Van Hove of Cocoa, FL. Friends will be received on Thursday from 12 until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton. Reverend Kevin L. Bowers will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, with military honors conducted by the United States Navy and the American Legion Honor Guard Post 10.   2. Sorry to hear, Joe and Lillian were the nicest Uncle and Aunt you could have. I think Uncle Joe looked more like my dad Mike than any of the other brothers. May GOD bless family and friends.

  3. David,,We are very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I remember the days back in the 50’s when your Dad and I used to hang out together. Joe was always a good guy that could be depended on regardless of the situation. We are sure he will be greatly missed by his friends and bowling buddy’s.
    We wish we could be there with you David but we are up in the years now and unable to travel.
