Joseph John Perazzoli

Joseph Perazzoli, 96 of Weirton died Friday November 26, 2010, at the D & D Quality Care in Weirton, WV.
He was born September 2, 1914, in Bradley, OH, the son of the late Lewis and Francesca DiFrancesco Perazzoli. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Emma Marinacci Perazzoli, on August 6, 2008; his brothers, William and Rudy Perazzoli, and his sisters, Jennie Marinacci and Clara Buracchio.
With 45 years of service, Joseph retired from National Steel, where he worked in the tin mill, as a buggy operator. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, 3734, Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, Three Score Seniors, and AARP.
Mr. Perazzoli is survived by his three daughters, Frances and Joseph Bertha of Weirton, WV, Barbara (LeMasters) and Ed Greenberg of Navarre, FL and Patty and Rich Wieloh of Weirton, WV; his brother Frank Perazzoli of Charleston, WV; his 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and his 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12 PM until time of services at 1 PM Monday, at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.
Rev. Fr. Dean Borgmeyer will preside.
Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery Mausoleum.

Dear Aunt Fran, Barbara, Patty and families, You have our deepest sympathies. We will never forget PapPap and the love of his family. He was a loving, kind gentle person who was always willing to help others. Keep the happy memories close and know that he will be with Nunnie again. God be with you at this time and always. To my “other” family … my deepest sympathy on the passing of Pap-pap. Although I know that it doesn’t take away the sadness you feel right now, he lived a good and full life! It is with “sure and certain hope” that we trust he is back with Nunnie now. When we were teens, I always was worried that he was going to yell at us, and he never did. He was such a kind soul. Pap-pap was such an inspiration. He was riding his stationary bike, woodworking, staying up to date on politics and doing his crosswords until very late in life. I’m thankful to have known him. Sending all of his family and friends sincere condolences. Jennifer

Mom, Aunt Fran, Aunt Barb and all of our family. Sorry I could not be there to support and share with everyone my sympathies and memories of our Pap. I always enjoyed looking out of our window on Denese Dr. down to thier porch and seeing Pap and Nun sitting in the shade on thier porch. So lucky to live next to my Grandparents! I will always cherish the memories of Christmas Day gatherings with all my cousins and Aunt and Uncles, searching for our boots on the tree and playing football with the big cousins out back, and eating too many cookies! No longer having them as the center of our family is a large loss to our family. Let’s all focus on the good times and rich memories of Pap and Nunnie and honor thier lives by remembering how great it was to be brought up as a big happy family at the lake, or thier house! Dear Fran, Barb, Patty and families. I learned of PapPap’s passing from Joey. I was very saddened by the news. PapPap was the most kindest, gentlest, hard working man with a heart of pure gold. He an Nunny were the grandparents to everyone of us growing up in the neighborhood. There are so many, many fond memories. Their lives touched so many. May PapPap and Nunny rest in peace and may the Perpetual Light shine upon them. They both have earned their place in Heaven. God bless you all.
