Joshua Michael Young, 31, of Cannonsburg, PA, died Saturday January 16, 2010.
Joshua was born to Michael Young and Ruey Bartis Read, on May 4, 1978 in Saint Louis, MO.
Joshua's favorite pastimes were reading, cooking and watching movies. He served his country in the United States Army.
Joshua is survived by his parents, Michael Young and his wife Laura of Monongahela, PA and Ruey Bartis Read and her husband Dale Bichler of Palm Bay FL.; two daughters, Avery Tapp of Brandon Mississippi, and Abigail Brake of Monongahelia, PA; a brother, Aaron Young of Monongahelia, PA; seven sisters, Jennifer Conway of Seattle WA, Samantha, Katelyn and Brianna Young of Monongahela, PA, Jordan, McKenzie and Zoe Bicher of Palm Bay, FL; Grandparents John Young of Colorado, and Sally Dommermuth Bartis of Weirton.
Private services will be held at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton
Interment will be in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
I knew Josh from Calvary Camp. This is shocking news. I remember Josh as a fun loving, happy, and playful boy who loved his family and loved driving his sister crazy. I am truly saddened to hear about your loss and my prayers are with you. Peace, Dana S Gaudet

After such a long time I was looking for Joshua “Josh” Young, who lived in the german city of Idar-Oberstein many years ago during his time in the army. We met in 1999. In Oct. 1999 he left Germany and the army and went back to the USA. I have never seen him again after he left Germany, but I am very sad about what I found when I was looking for him.
