Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. It is at times like these that I most miss being away from family. My heart was truly saddened today when I heard the news about Aunt Leona. I so which I could be there today, to offer a hug, hold a hand, share a tear and as we McDonald’s like to do – share an amusing story. One thing I can say is that we do have many amusing stories to remember. While time and distance has not allowed us to see each other often in recent years, I hold many precious memories of past family get togethers. When I think of Aunt Leona and Uncle Tom, I always think of two fun loving people who shared in life’s greatest gifts – a loving relationship and a loving family. In 1995, Aunt Leona’s life changed dramatically with the loss of Uncle Tom and while we can all take comfort in our memories, we can also take comfort in the fact that they are now together forever. So, Tom, Linda, Mickey, Julie, Kelli, Mark,Mike, Paul, Erin, Kristin, Steve, Emily and Vincent know that you are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. May God bless you and comfort you. Love, Marilyn, Terry, Chelsea, Ryan and Katie.

  2. Tom, Very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. My prayers weii be with you and your family. Steve

  3. Dear Tom and Mike: Your mom was alway so very sweet and such a gracious lady. No one cries as hard as when a mother passes. When my mom passed away last year, a friend sent me this lovely sentiment: A million times I thought of you, I million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In live I loved you dearly; in death, I love you still. You hold a place in my heart, no one could ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. A part of me went with you, the day God took you home. May the many beautiful memories of both your mom and dad keep alive in your heart until you one day meet again! Barbara and Gary

  4. Friends of Tom and Linda, I only know Mrs. McDonald through her son, Tom. She must have been a wonderful lady, she raised a very fine son.
