Margaret B. Hayes

Margaret B. Hayes, 89, of Weirton, died 1:30 AM Friday, November 17, 2000 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born on January 10, 1911, the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Suella Strain Mechling. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John J. Hayes November 9, 1988; one son William L. Beatty; one grandson, William Eugene Visnich; three brothers Willard, Charles and Roy Mechling; three sisters, Marian Knox, Georgia Freshwater, Florence Bridges She was a member of the Weirton Christian and Missionary Alliance, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and being active in the Missionary Society. She is survived by, one son Edwin Eugene Beatty of Weirton; one daughter Vonnie Visnich of Weirton, WV; one sister Willagene Minnis of Carey North Carolina; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren. Visitations will be Sunday 1-3 & 7-9 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, where services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Raymond Draa officiating.
