With her family by her side, Martha Dodasovich, 75, of Weirton, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009. Born November 1, 1933 in Weirton, she was a daughter of the late George and Ljuba Stepanovich Mandich. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Nick, Sam, Robert and Milan Mandich. Mrs. Dodasovich graduated from the College of Steubenville. She taught at Mingo High School in Jefferson County, OH and for Weir High, Weir Jr. High and Oak Glen High School in Hancock County. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church where she was active in the Petar Krstich Choir, K.S.S. Sveta Petka and K.S.S. Vidovdan. Martha volunteered at the Weirton Senior Center and was a member of the Hancock County Association of Retired School Employees. Most of all, Martha loved to travel, especially going to the beach with her family. Martha is survived by her husband George Robert Dodasovich of Weirton, whom she married on July 14, 1963; daughter Andrea Dodasovich and her son-in-law Mark Findrick of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Pomen services will be held 7PM Sunday in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00AM Monday at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church in Steubenville, OH. The Very Reverend Father Rade Merick will officiate.   6. Dear Bob, Andrea, and Mark, I loved Martha. All of you know that. She was unique, funny, caring, and so much more. I will always treasure the years we spent together at Weir High. She could always put me in a good mood and make me laugh. All of you were so important to her. When she spoke of you, Andrea, she’d always say you were her breath of life.
