Michael Gleto

Michael Gleto, 81 of Weirton, died Sunday July 8, 2001 at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born September 11, 1919 in Maple Ridge, Pa., son of the late John and Mary Toth Gleto. Michael retired from Quinns Resturant where he worked in maintenance with 25 years of service. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Weirton. He was a WWII, US Army veteran and a member of the VFW in Weirton. He is survived by two daughters, Debbie Gleto of Hudson, Ohio, and Terry Stalzer of Sarasota, Florida. He has one grandchild Stacy Yacovella. One brother John Gleto Jr. of Weirton, two sisters, Helen Marosi of Colliers, WV, and Mrs Rudolph Mary Jane Meszaros of Rayland, Ohio survive him. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, July 11, 2001, from 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home in Weirton. Final blessing will be Wednesday, 9:30AM in the funeral home, with funeral liturgy at 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Byzantine Church, Weirton, WV. Interment will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Colliers, WV, with Military graveside services conducted by the VFW, American Legion and the Tri-State Marine Corps.
