phyllis harris
Phyllis M. Harris, 82, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 at her daughter's home. Born December 9, 1928 in Toronto, OH, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Alice Booth Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her husbands Arthur Harris and Harry Green; son Alan Lee Bargar; brothers Austin and Edward Reynolds and sister Mildred Nagel. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, visiting with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Salvation Army, where she was a member of the Home League. She was also an active member of the Freedom Place Tennant's Club. Phyllis is survived by her sons Rodney Bargar and his fianc Wanda of Indianapolis, IN and David Bargar and his wife Donna of Weirton; daughters Carla Klepack and her husband Michael and Penny Harlacher all of Weirton; sisters Mary Louise Baker of Steubenville, OH and Vera Brobston of Witter Springs, California; eleven grandchildren: Joey Klepack, Lori Bargar, Michael Barger, Amber McPhail, Jimmy Stephen, Paul Stephen, Hannah Barger, Brandon Scozio, Brant Harlacher, Frank Scozio and Cassie Scozio and 5 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be celebrated 11AM Monday. Captains Ed and Goldie Long will officiate. Interment will be in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, P. O. Box 2499, Weirton, WV 26062 or Amedisys Hospice, 1251 Warwood Avenue, Suite A, Wheeling, WV 26003.

  4. sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my mom in feb. and it is rough but she is in a better place and no longer in pain. I moved back to ohio to live with my dad love, lynn

She was a Great Lady,Mother,Grandmother And a very good mother-inlaw. I know how very hard it is to loose your mom. There are not words to help ease the pain.   11. Aunt Carla, Uncle Rodney, Uncle Dave and Aunt Penny I wish I was there with all of you, so sorry for the loss of your mother. Time and miles apart do not take away the memories of being with grandma. She was an awesome person and was so joyful and fun to be with. Michael said he will always remember her homemade noodles. I rememeber most is her support and love without judgement. She was with me on my wedding day as the place of my mother. I love her and miss all of you. My family and my heart. I wish you all peace.
