Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To the family of Regina Surrel: Whenever I think of Regina, I think of her kind and gentle presence — always smiling. As we grew up going to SHM and attending the once 10:30 am Sunday Mass, we always sat near Regina and Mrs. Pykosz (Regina always gave her a ride to Mass). God has called Regina to be with Himself and she is certainly one of the Saints around the Throne of Christ. I shall never forget her and will hold you in my prayers.

  2. Some people come into our lives and quickly go… Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever the same. This phrase was posted near the Weirton Geriatric CEnter elevator. I would glanced at it every time I would use the elevator whether it be for work or for visits. I had the opportunity to visit with Regina quite often these last few months and days. I brought her church bulletins lately. She loved to heard about Sacre Heart of Mary Church. She was thrilled to see her name mentioned about her birthday. This past week,I prayed with her and held her hands which were clutching the rosary. I said goodbye to her, but told her to that Jesus and Mary were waiting in open arms to see her. I, also, told her that my parents would be glad to see her, too. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual Light shine upon them. May she rest in peace. Amen.

  3. To the family of Regina, Regina was the most wonderful person anyone could have ever known! My family and I lived next door, and Regina became like a second mother to me. There are so many memories of all the things we did together. She was always happy, caring, and giving, and I was truly blessed to have had her in my life. Now, God has her back in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  4. As we cannot be there we share our love for cousin Regina. I always remember her as loving, smiling and warm. I also remember how she was very close to her Catholic faith as most people in our family. Our prayes are with you now and forever. Love, Joe and Terry Abramowicz

  5. God’s blessings to Regina a wonderful and beautiful person. She’ll be missed. Mary ann Tonski Thomas
