Surrounded by her loving family, Regina Marie Garner, 79, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2010 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born April 1, 1931 in Huttonsville, WV, she was a daughter of the late Rollin and Ethel Rosenerance See. She was preceded in death by her husbands Russell Isner in 1952 and Loyd Garner in 1996 and brother-in-law William H. Isner. Mrs. Garner was a homemaker who worked for 14 years as a Nurse's Aid at the Weirton Geriatric Center and was a member of the Weirton Heights Church of Christ. Regina was very family oriented and loved to make and sell crafts with her sister. Regina is survived by her daughters Peggy Garner with whom she made her home in Weirton; Yovonne Sue Isner and Rebecca Foster and her husband Johnny all of New Manchester, WV, Linda Venditti of Belington, WV and Esther Garner of Weirton; brother Carl See and his wife Lettie of Elkins, WV; sisters Evalena Isner of Woodstock, VA and Barbara Tacy and her husband Charles of Austintown, OH; eight grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; very special friend, Jean Rawson and a special feline, Zoey. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Additional visitation will be held Friday from 10 until the 11AM funeral services at the Weirton Heights Church of Christ. Minister Steven P. Smithbauer will officiate. Following the Weirton funeral services, Regina will be escorted to Elkins, WV, where visitation will be held Saturday from 12 until the 1PM funeral services at the Elkins Church of Christ. Interment will be in Brick Church Cemetery, Huttonsville, WV.
