Robert "Bob" C. Pulver, 83, of Weirton, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Weirton Medical Center. Born May 10, 1933, in Weirton, he was the son of the late Theodore and Rose Troy Pulver. He was also preceded in death by his sister Bernice Ackerman. Bob retired from Weirton Steel as a labor relations supervisor. He served as a gunner's mate in the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, where he served as past president, American Legion Post 10 and the V.F.W. 2716. Bob was an avid golfer who had "three holes-in-one". Nothing could bring a smile to Bob's face like his four daughters and grandchildren. They were his pride and joy. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Mary "Betty" Elizabeth Cucarese Pulver; daughters Susan (Wallace) Jeffe , Janie (Don) Bohn, Carole (David) Lammers, all of Weirton and Joanne (Connor) Fox of Bavington, PA and grandchildren Tyler and Eli Fox and Madison and Katie Lammers. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Reverend Larry Barkley will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton. The family would like to thank Dr. Khurana and staff for the special care they provided.
