  3. Dear Sara and Robert and family,

So sorry to hear of Robert’s passing!

Your father was an extremely good man. He always allowed me to work at the pace I needed to balance my family and my extra work for him.

We spoke of our family many times, yours and mine, he taught me how to be a better father and person. He loved his family very much especially “Little Saree”. Probably the most gratifying job I did for Robert was to rebuild his sidewalk and add that step to his porch for “Little Saree”.

My world is such a better place just for knowing your dad and mom for the time that I did.

My son Wesley also reflects the same. Robert was so happy when Wesley decided to major in mechanical engineering and when Wesley became a member of

TAU BETA PI, the engineering honor society, which originated a Le-high University, and Robert proudly pointed out he was the only engineer at WSX who belonged to it.

Every time we spoke he would make me feel good about myself no matter what was going wrong in my life! I will celebrate his life by remembering him as my friend and a friend to all that met him through me.

I could write so much more, but please know, that many friends and family of mine were touched by Robert and are the better for it!

    God Bless,

    Goerge Lengyel and family

  4. Dear Bob,

I was sadden to learn of the passing of your father. I have many fond memories of him from my Weirton Steel career.

I had been talking about your father and his accomplishments in the steel industry only a couple of months ago when I worked the election polls in Ohio with your nephew John.

Again, my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

    Bob Firm

  5. Professor Robert Miltenberger was an excellent teacher and deeply appreciated in the Engineering Science program at Franciscan University of Steubenville. It was my privilege to work with him for 12 years in the classroom. God bless you, Robert.

  6. My greatest sympathy goes out to the family of Robert Miltenberger SR. Being an employee of Grace Cottage I have gotten the pleasure of taking care of and getting to know him over the past 2 years. Some of the best memories I had of him would be our talks together in the mornings. I learned something new from Bob everyday, which is something I always told him. He would always keep me updated on the current events in the news and this would be the topics of our conversation along with other updates of my life that I would share with him. Bob has given me some of the best advice over the past 2 years that I will hold onto forever. Words cannot describe how great of a man he was and I feel blessed to have known him.
