Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. One of the earliest memories I have of Dad was standing next to him in the front seat of the car singing “I love my daddy and my daddy loves me…” and hundreds of little diddys; when he didn’t know the words he made up some of his own to fit. I think he taught me to sing before I learned to talk. Throughout my teen years he would stand at the bottom of the stairs in the morning and sing “Sherry, Sherry baby…” to get me out of bed. I hope the echo of his voice never fades from my memory, he loved us, and he is my hero always.

  2. My Dad,never met a stranger, never even once did I hear him use a word of profanity, always a faithful servant to his God, church, and fellow man. He was one of a kind, and we will miss him.

  3. I will miss my grandfather forever, and I am blessed to have had him in my life for 31 years. I have peace of mind in knowing that he walked in the ways of our Lord Jesus and that he is up there beside him in heaven.

  4. Stan was a good man and was like a father to me during a tough period in my life. I know that Mae will be lost without him because they were always so close. Bob, Rodger & Sherry, our thoughts are with you all and your families. We love you all, Cathy & Harley

  5. To the Douglass Family, You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Your parents were dear friends to my parents for many many years. My God place his loving arms around your entire family during this difficult time. Thoughts and Prayers, Maura

  6. To the Douglass Family, You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My God place his loving arms around your entire family during this difficult time.

  7. We will never forget you Grandpa! I love my grandpa and my grandpa loves me, here we sit under the apple tree. And when the moon comes out you see — shine on me harvest moon.
